What Will You Learn?
Resources for teaching and lesson-planning
Learn to create engaging classroom learning environments. You will gain highly developed thinking and teaching skills to prepare you to teach from your mastery of English content.
Valuable classroom experience
Gain experience through a 12-credit student-teaching experience at both public and private schools. You will be prepared by highly qualified faculty to communicate with students in the classroom and one-on-one.
Solid biblical foundations and philosophies of teaching English
Get a solid basis in theology so that you can teach secular knowledge from a biblical perspective.
You will be prepared to interact with students, parents and coworkers with integrity and kindness.
- You will be eligible to apply for Pennsylvania state certification and certification from the Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI) for teaching English in grades 7–12.
- You can easily transition into CSU’s Master of Education program.
- Add a Special Education minor for additional teaching opportunities!
