Staff Positions

STAFF: Administrative Assistant for the Office of Student Development

Job Description

This position provides administrative support to the Office of Student Development as needed, including the Vice President for Student Development, Associate Deans and the Residence Hall program. Support is also provided to the Residence Hall Directors and Resident Assistants to assist them with their jobs and to aid them in any and all responsibilities. Another major function is helping students to understand and adhere to the rules and regulations of the institution by responding to their questions and concerns.

Job Description

Provides oversight to the REC Center and Phelps Student Center to maximize the use of the facilities as experience-based learning environments, for the intentional development of students toward Christ-Centered and Career-Ready. This position organizes and manages events and daily operations and works closely with our Facilities Department, Athletics Department, and Office for Student Development to provide excellence in customer service to the Clarks Summit University staff and students as well as the community.

As the Head Men’s Baseball Coach, the individual holds the responsibility for coaching; recruiting qualified, mission-fit student-athletes; conducting and supervising regular practice sessions and contests; supervision of assistant coaches and volunteer assistants; monitoring academic progress and fundraising.
