Commuters/Off Campus
Commuters & Off Campus Students
Take advantage of the Bible college in your backyard!
Commuters are a valuable part of our community. You will have opportunities to get involved and experience the college life at Clarks Summit University while you live off-campus nearby.
CSU is located near Route 81, making it an easy drive. Find the fastest route to campus: Google Map Directions
As a commuter at CSU, you will be able to:
- Build relationships in the residence halls: You will be “adopted” by a Residence Hall, where you can hang out and study between classes. You can connect with the people in your on-campus family through residence hall chapels and fun events.
- Park on campus: You are welcome to park in the Shaffer Hall and Woolsey Hall parking lots, which are within a short walking distance from where most of your classes will be held in Jackson Hall.
- Pick a meal plan: Depending on how often you plan to eat on-campus, you will be able to find a meal plan that suits your needs. You can set up a Commuter Meal Plan by visiting the Business Office.
- Get involved: You will be able to pursue your interests and develop relationships through co-curricular activities such as choir, theatre and athletics.

CAMPUS LIFE
My experience with getting involved on campus has been great! I play softball every year and played soccer for one season. I love building relationships with the girls on my team, and some of them have become my best friends. I am also involved in CSU’s choir…One benefit of commuting to CSU is that I can balance both time spent with my family at home and time spent with friends who live on campus.
Take advantage of being within driving distance of a Christ-centered college! You will be able to build meaningful relationships and gain a biblical education while living at home off-campus.
We welcome you to join our community and make CSU your home away from home!
