Celebrating the Class of 2023
Commencement is always a special time, and we are excited to celebrate the accomplishment of our graduates.
Some basic information is below; more detailed information will be available as we get closer to the event. Graduates, please check your email for updates and information.

Tickets
No tickets are required for Commencement.
Doors Opening
Doors to the Recreation Center will open at 9 a.m. There are no reserved seats.
Seating for Young Children
An auxiliary room served by video will be designed for young children. No nursery supervision will be provided, however. Please be courteous of our graduates and their achievement by taking advantage of this room.
Seating for Disabled Individuals
The entrance to the Recreation Center is at ground level. There is an elevator available for anyone in need. Please contact the Commencement Coordinator if you require special seating by Friday, April 28.
Parking
Security will be on duty to assist with parking needs. Please allow extra time for parking as you plan for arrival.
Live Stream
The commencement ceremony will be live-streamed. The link will be available on this page closer to the event.
The live stream will stay on the CSU Facebook video section. It will also be added to CSU’s YouTube channel the following week.

Information for Graduates
Regalia
The registrar’s office will order all regalia.
Regalia will be available for pick-up on Friday, May 5, from 2-2:45 p.m. and 4:30-5 p.m.
Graduation Products
Graduation products are available for purchase at www.jostens.com. Search for Clarks Summit University at the top left of the website. Products include personalized announcements and thank you notes. Diploma frames with custom matting and the Clarks Summit University seal are also available for ordering. Custom rings with the university name and seal are offered and can be customized with major and degree. There will be a virtual ring event where rings are discounted. Information will be sent to each graduate’s school email.
Commencement Dress for Graduates
This is a formal event, so it is expected that graduates dress according. General guidelines would be modest attire.
Ladies are expected to wear a dress or skirt of appropriate length or dressy pants. Please do not wear flip-flops, casual/athletic shoes, or shorts.
Men are expected to wear a dress shirt and pants. Dress shoes are appropriate for this kind of an occasion, while a jacket is not required. Please do not wear athletic wear, sneakers, shorts, or jeans.

President's Reception
The President’s Reception for all graduates of Clarks Summit University and Baptist Bible Seminary will be held Friday evening, May 5, at 7 p.m. in the Phelps Student Center. More information will be emailed to all graduates. Tickets will be required.
