When we discuss the theory of education, it all goes back to what is truth. Truth isn’t relative. It’s what God says. It doesn’t change; it’s solid. It says a lot for the school that their education classes discuss how a biblical worldview shapes our philosophy of education.
About Your Program
What Will You Learn?
Develop your teaching skills
Through your studies, you will learn the latest in contemporary teaching practices and methodology and tie it all together through a comprehensive project.
Communicate your educational philosophy
Your worldview and educational philosophy drives everything you do as an educator. Learn to think through your approach biblically to be most effective in your public or Christian school classrooms.
Learn within a supportive community
As you have online discussions about best practices in the field and philosophies driving your education, you will learn alongside other education professionals and benefit from their experiences. Share practical tips and common concerns as you work through real challenges with classmates and professors who have decades of experience in the field.
“Not only are the professors building into you and increasing your knowledge, but you have the opportunity to rub elbows with other Christian school professionals that are doing the same thing you are. It gives you a chance to share exciting things and challenges. Iron sharpens iron.”
–Steve Bowers, Middle School Principal at Peoria Christian School in Peoria, Illinois
