Ritch Kelley
Dean, School of Education | Professor, Teacher Education--PreK-4th, PreK-12, 7-12 | Department Chair, Secondary Programs and K-12 Programs
Dr. Ritch Kelley began his education career in 1982 and came to CSU in 2002 to join the mission of preparing professional educators who see classrooms as spaces for ministry.
Kelley has experience in elementary classrooms, administration, literacy and curriculum development, as well as teacher supervision and certification preparation. Dr. Kelly is the dean of the School of Education.
When he's not teaching the teachers, Kelley enjoys reading and antiquing. He and his wife, Diana, have two adult children who are CSU alum, and a Shi Tzu named Liam. Kelley’s favorite verse is Ephesians 6:10.
I chose to teach at CSU because of the emphasis on preparing students to be professional educators who implement best practices and see their classrooms as places where they can minister to the students and families.
