Joshua Knight
Head Coach, Baseball | Assistant Recreation Center Director | Game Day Manager
Joshua Knight joined the athletics staff in 2022 as the head baseball coach. As a student, Knight played four years, was a captain his senior year, and was named to the all-conference CSAC team. As a requirement for his sports management business degree, he did his internship in the athletics department.
Knight also serves as the facilities manager for the Recreation Center and lives near campus with his wife, Shelby. When he’s not coaching and leading, he enjoys watching Defender soccer, NY Yankees baseball, Penn State football and UNC basketball games. Joshua also enjoys hunting, fishing and playing pickleball. His favorite podcast is "Postgame" with Paul Golden.
I have an opportunity to develop athletes and men who love the game of baseball. At CSU, I am thankful for the flexibility in that I can talk about Jesus openly and how he impacts my life. It is a blessing to be around other young people and help them from my experiences.
