SPEAKER
Andy Giessman
Andy is executive director of the Addison’s Walk Center for Christian Studies, a nonprofit organization located in Scranton, PA. Engaging the academic community at the crossroads of faith, reason and culture, Addison’s Walk Institute is modeled after other Christian study centers around the world. He holds advanced degrees in theology and philosophy and is in the process of earning his Doctor of Ministry Philosophy. Andy has over 20 years of ministry experience and is a sought-after speaker for youth groups throughout the United States, delivering radical messages that challenge students to think through the claims of Jesus Christ. He teaches theology and philosophy at the University of Scranton.
SPEAKER
Dr. Lynelle Buchanan
As a CSU student, Lynelle found a love for God’s Word, and it changed her forever. She speaks passionately to audiences about how we as Christians should live in light of Scripture.
Lynelle Buchanan, Ph.D., is a wife, mom of three and dean of the School of Behavioral Sciences at Clarks Summit University. A Nationally Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor, she teaches at undergraduate and graduate levels and serves as the resident director for Fletcher Hall. Her life keeps her pretty busy, but if she has any spare time, she loves to read, play volleyball and travel.
SPEAKER
Dr. Steve Baley
Steve Baley, D.Ed.Min., is the associate dean of students at Clarks Summit University. He has well over 20 years of ministry experience including time as youth pastor, lead pastor, school administrator, Bible and history teacher, and basketball coach. He holds a Doctor of Educational Ministry in Christian Apologetics. Steve has a deep passion to teach young people how to share the life-changing truth of the gospel through apologetics and cultural engagement.
SPEAKER
Dr. David Gunn
David Gunn, Ph.D., enjoys teaching students how Christianity isn’t just morally and philosophically true but also historically and factually true. He loves seeing their love for Christ deepen, and he is passionate about engaging our culture from a biblical worldview. He was director of Regular Baptist Press and managing editor of the Baptist Bulletin. He served in pastoral ministry in California and Washington, and now he’s teaching at CSU’s Baptist Bible Seminary as associate professor of theology, English Bible and apologetics.
David and his wife Sarah have two children; they enjoy board games, hiking and geocaching. He loves good coffee and Chicago-style pizza which, he says, is “incalculably superior to New York-style pizza.”
