CSU Ranked 2nd In National Study

CSU Ranked 2nd In National Study

Published April 20, 2016

Clarks Summit University is rated second in the nation for campus safety, as reported by Business Insider.

The recent study, conducted by Niche, took into account student satisfaction, freshmen retention rate, graduation rate, local crime grade, and alcohol and drug-related arrests. These variables affect the study’s rating of each campus and reflect overall campus safety.

“This recognition reflects the entire campus family’s commitment to our campus safety and security,”said Ken Morris, Director of Security at CSU. “It starts with the university’s administration understanding and supporting the efforts to keep a campus safe and secure, and the respectful cooperation of students, faculty and staff to build and maintain a safe and secure campus.”

Clarks Summit University was preceded by Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and followed by Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The study reports nine of the top ten safest campuses in the nation are faith-based or faith-affiliated.
