Dena Cambra

Dena began working at CSU in 1993 after being raised on the West Coast. She serves as vice president for marketing and communications, where she leads a talented team responsible for marketing, communications, media services, mail center and information technology.

Dena served as the Lady Defender assistant women’s basketball coach for 15 years. She earned her Master of Education from the university and has served as an adjunct instructor. In 2019, she was recognized as one of the Top 25 Women in Business by The Northeast PA Business Journal.

An active member of the university’s LYFE Women's Conference committee, she is motivated by seeing hundreds of women worship and learn from God’s Word each year at LYFE. She also has a beloved Cockapoo named Tré, a certified therapy dog who she takes to hospitals, assisted living facilities and nursing homes to spread encouragement.

Dena enjoys staying active with athletics and golf, as well as relaxing at the beach and listening to music. Her life verse, Philippians 3:13-14, reflects her positive outlook and determination to continue growing both personally and professionally.
