About the Camp
Student-athletes get the tools they need to grow their skills in a motivating environment at Defender Volleyball Camp! High school and middle school students will receive professional instruction from NCAA DIII college coaches and athletes. They’ll get hours of action-packed, individualized and small group instruction to help them take their skills and game to the next level.
Players will:
- Learn and practice all skills and techniques in a fun environment.
- Become more versatile athletes as they learn from different coaching styles.
- Be challenged to improve through each practice and training.
- Connect with and compete against a wide range of players.
- Receive camp swag!

July 15-19, 2024 | Girls entering grades 7–12 | 9 am–12 pm | Early Bird Price: $150 if registered by June 15. After June 15 price: $170.
*Only early bird registrations will receive camp swag.
What does a day of camp look like?
- Dynamic warmup
- Ball control drills
- Individual skill stations

What to bring:
- Each player should wear: shorts, shirts, and indoor only sneakers
- Each player should bring: water and snacks
Camp Director
Kelly Fry started her volleyball coaching career as the head coach at Misericordia University for a total of 4 seasons where she earned the MAC Freedom Coach of the year in 2015. She then coached two seasons at her high school alma mater in Tunkhannock before taking a coaching break for a few years to raise her 3 beautiful children. Kelly came to CSU in the Fall of 2022 and has been working hard to recruit, build and strengthen the volleyball program while also serving as the assistant Athletic Director. She is looking forward to working with younger athletes again and helping them develop a love for the game while boosting their confidence so that they can be a big asset to their future teams.
