Tommy Peifer

Head Coach, Men's Soccer | Game Day Manager

Tommy Peifer joined the athletic department in 2023 as the head coach for men's soccer. Peifer graduated from CSU in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education. He previously worked as the graduate assistant for the CSU men’s soccer team and as a Parks and Recreation camp counselor in Jefferson County, West Virginia.

Peifer grew up in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia, with his parents and two brothers. His hobbies include soccer, watching sports (specifically Chelsea F.C.), video games, hiking and traveling. His love of traveling might be more than a hobby, though, because Peifer has been to 13 countries! His favorite place to visit is Rijeka, Croatia, in the summertime. He is looking forward to one day traveling to his dream destination, Santorini, Greece, to experience the beautiful architecture and swim in the crystal-clear waters.

His favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 41:10 because it’s a “great reminder that God is with us always and we have nothing to be fearful of.” Peifer takes that wisdom wherever he goes and is excited to encourage his players and minister to other schools using the avenue of sports.

I love this environment because it gives me an opportunity to help students grow in their faith and become better men and women of Christ. Also, working here gives me the opportunity to share my own personal experiences and help the students understand that they are not alone.
