Theodore Boykin
Ted has spent most of his life serving in youth ministry and college-aged ministry. He joined the CSU family in 1989 and has been a resident director, dean of men and basketball coach. As vice president of student development, he leads a team of dedicated individuals who are committed to serving students. He loves how his role encourages students to live out the teachings of Christ in their daily lives.
Before CSU, Ted served in college-age student ministry and a high school boys basketball ministry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University, a Master of Science in Christian Counseling from Cairn University and a Master of Divinity from Baptist Bible Seminary.
Ted is married to Sherry, a former missionary to Peru, and they have one daughter. His favorite book is “A Severe Mercy” by Sheldon Vanauken. His favorite verses are Luke 7:36–50 and John 8:1–11 as they show how God’s grace can change lives like it has changed his life.
