Paul Golden
Paul began working at CSU in 1994 and earned his Master of Divinity from Baptist Bible Seminary soon after. As executive director of alumni and church relations, he helps alumni stay connected with CSU through events and initiatives. Paul teaches Bible and theology courses online, and he previously served as the seminary registrar and Master of Ministry program advisor.
Paul wrote “Surviving the Storms of Life” in 2020—a timely piece helping Christians face the unexpected. He has also used two of his passions—sports and adoption—to write two articles: “Sports, the Word, and Dr. Arp” and “Look After Orphans: Twenty Ways to be an Adoption-Friendly Church.” He is the host of a sports and faith podcast called “Post Game with Paul Golden.” In his spare time, he serves as chaplain for the New York Yankees AAA affiliate team and the Pittsburgh Penguins AHL affiliate team. He’s an avid New York Yankees, Pittsburg Penguins and Syracuse Orangemen fan.
He and his wife, Marbeth, have two children. One of his favorite local activities is going to Manning’s for ice cream, and his life verse is Joshua 24:15.
