Patience Schwamb
Compliance Coordinator
Patience Schwamb came to CSU in 2009, starting as the director of student accounts. After fourteen years of helping students with their accounts, she moved to help the university with important regulatory and compliance issues. Patience manages state authorization, clearinghouse and yearly compliance surveys. She holds a degree in business administration from Houghton College and has been working in finance since 2006.
Schwamb enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with her two children. She’s fascinated by subsistence living and would someday enjoy living off the land. She has enjoyed helping the elderly in their homes since college and now ministers to the aging in her neighborhood.
As believers we aspire to worship our maker in whole-hearted devotion and sincerely love others by displaying Christ in both practical service and spiritual ministry. CSU has made its mission to teach every student to do this in any vocation or path of life. I love working each day to support a mission that teaches students do what they were made to do alongside coworkers that love God and love each other. It’s a true blessing!
