Lynze Mewhort
Administrative Assistant for Development | Director, LYFE Women's Conference
Lynze Mewhort joined the CSU Alumni and Development team in 2021. She connects alumni with the CSU family by keeping them updated on current happenings and events. She also organizes travel plans for CSU’s president and keeps records and reports. A CSU alumna, Lynze served as President Lytle’s teaching assistant from 2008 to 2014. She enjoys planning events and has been a wedding coordinator for four couples.
Mewhort was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, but grew up in Bath, New York and Troy, Pennsylvania. She and her husband have two children, and she enjoys cooking and eating good food. Her favorite verses are Romans 12:1-1. Fun fact: Mewhort has a black belt in Kenpo and Tae Kwon Do.
When I came to CSU I didn't realize how much my faith would be challenged as an adult. The theological training I received here set me up for success in ministry and as I faced trials in my adult life. I'm thankful that I had been challenged to work out my faith and make it my own while attending this school. I am excited to help current students do the same and to support an institution that is setting them up for all around success.
