Jeanna LaCava
Part-time Faculty
As both a professor and counselor, Jeanna LaCava helps students understand people better. She shares CSU's passion for spiritual and professional growth through gospel-centered relationships and felt an immediate connection when she arrived in 2019.
Professionally, Jeanna is a member of the American Counseling Association and has presented research at the American Association of Behavioral and Social Sciences Conference.
Jeanna grew up as the middle child in a ministry home. She’s a violinist, coffee lover, Yankees fan and self-proclaimed Star Wars nerd. Her favorite book of the Bible is Colossians. People says she's energetic, and someday she would like to explore Italy.
The first moment I read CSU's mission to create graduates who are Christ-centered and career-ready, I knew it was the place for me. This school works hard at fostering an environment in which students can grow both spiritually and professionally, and they do it through gospel-centered relationships. I love that my passions align so perfectly with the school's and by the wonderful grace of God, every day that I go to work I also have incredible opportunities to live out the Great Commission.
