Diane Lytle

Faculty Development Specialist | Adjunct Instructor

Diane Lytle has been teaching at CSU since 2009 and is now also “First Lady” to President Jim Lytle. She has been a part of various roles at CSU over the years and presently teaches Principles of Bible Study to undergraduate and graduate students. She is passionate about teaching students to study the Bible well and use the skill int their various ministries.

A faculty development specialist, Lytle provides instructional design support and best practices for learning management to offer high quality online courses. She helps orient new students to the online experience and helps solve issues with faculty and staff.

Growing up, she wanted to be a nun, like her teachers at her Catholic school. But God had other plans. He used John 3:18 to make the gospel clear to her when she was 18. After graduating from CSU, the Lytles served as missionaries in South Africa, where she taught at the Baptist Bible College of KwaZulu-Natal.

No matter how the Lord may lead in a person's life—whether they make their living from their career or not—living a life that centers on Jesus Christ makes all the difference! CSU's emphasis on the practical application of the Bible changed my life, and I love seeing the transformation I see in my students' lives as well. There's nothing like it!
