Caroline Burleigh
Professor, Early Childhood, Elementary Education, PreK-4th | Department Chair, PreK-Grade 4 program
Dr. Caroline Burleigh joined the education faculty at CSU in 2005 after teaching elementary school at the largest Christian school in New England. She teaches methods classes for math, science and language arts. Burleigh also teaches early childhood theories and practices, and she supervises student teachers.
Dr. Burleigh has been published in scholarly journals having written on mathematics anxiety and early childhood teachers.
When not in the classroom—or writing about it—Dr. Burleigh enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and spending time at the ocean. Her favorite food is brick oven pizza.
I love being an educator in a Christian school and mentoring future teachers who will go out and make a difference for Christ in the lives of their students in various school settings and ministries around the world.
