Paul Golden Named Director of Alumni Services

Paul Golden Named Director of Alumni Services

Published June 7, 2017

Clarks Summit University welcomes Paul Golden into the role of Director of Alumni Services. Golden has faithfully served CSU and Baptist Bible Seminary for over two decades and looks forward to continued service to the university and alumni.

Paul Golden brings added service to the alumni of CSU as part of his role as Executive Director of the President’s Office. “Paul has strong relationships throughout our alumni family, including those in ministry, but more significantly, with our alumni who are serving God in a wide range of careers,” said President Jim Lytle. “We realized that relationships with alumni naturally saturated his work in our office.”

Paul hopes to utilize the gifts and abilities among CSU’s alumni network to facilitate alumni relations. Of his plans, Golden said, “God has built so many complementary skills in our alumni family. If we can help alumni network with each other, we can provide a mutual support structure that will benefit our graduates like never before.”

A skilled administrator, Paul served as Director of Enrollment at Baptist Bible Seminary for 22 years before becoming Executive Director of the President’s Office in 2016. Paul earned his Bachelor of Science (’91) and his Master of Divinity (’95) from CSU and BBS respectively. In addition to his ministry at CSU, Paul serves as chaplain for the Pittsburgh Penguins’ AHL affiliate (Wilkes-Barre/Scranton). He lives in Clarks Summit with his wife Marbeth and their two children. Paul would enjoy hearing from CSU alumni—he can be reached at pgolden@ClarksSummitU.edu or alumni@ClarksSummitU.edu.
