  • Introduced new songs to the church and creating a team leadership for the future Praise team.
  • Finished all my projects (did my last 2 projects this month).
  • Continued teaching my Sunday School Class.
  • Was able to celebrate God’s faithful throughout my internship here at NBC with the church family!

Key Prayer Requests

Trying to finish up all the logs and paper work (reports) for my internship within the couple weeks.

Please continue to pray for good health (spiritually, physically and emotionally) as I continue to preach through Ephesians.

Pray for me as I am traveling and visiting churches in these next 2 months as I raise support for my future ministry back home in Myanmar.

Continue to pray for me as I am still trying to find and start a transition process in the Praise Team Leadership.

Prominent Lessons

As I have mentioned above, it is just amazing how the God the Holy Spirit illuminates your mind and convicts your heart as you read the Word in surrender one of the lessons I have learned from reading the Word. As I was preparing for my sermon, I realized the importance of balancing knowing and living the Word! It is like paddling when canoeing (even though I have not gone canoeing, I have taken my Olympian kids on a weekend bible camp and watched and instructed them on canoeing and how they should be paddling). We can’t paddle from just one side if we want to get to a destination when canoeing. Similarly, we can’t just know the Word and choose not live in light of what we know in order to be a successful believer in this life. By reading the Word we know who God is and who we are. What we know to be true about God should impact the way was live. Our love for God should flow out into our activities, which will be empowered by the Spirit of God!

As I reported to the church about what I have learned from the past months as an internship, I have come to realize that I need to be more patient. I learned a lot from my pastor as I saw him being patient with us interns as well as the people he ministers to. I find his example beautiful and godly. Too many times I justified my anger or my harsh reaction towards someone by saying that anger in itself is not a sin. I know that James reminded us that the anger of man never produces the righteousness of God. Jesus was righteous and holy in His anger because he knew the perfect will of the Father. I, on the other hand, almost always get anger for my own glory or because of my bitterness. I want to be patient like Jesus and like Pastor Seboe!

Key Goals for the Next Month

Finish my reports.

Continue teaching Olympians on Wednesday nights.

Continue working with my praise team in their transition and still going to their practice on Wednesdays.

This will close in 20 seconds
