Youth Pastor (Bachelor of Science)

To be effective in today’s youth culture, a pastor must be equipped with more than a guitar and a pat answer. Young people need godly mentors who will invest in their lives and consistently point them to the Word of God.

The Youth Pastor program will prepare you to be a discipler as well as a teacher. You’ll receive classroom learning as well as practical ministry opportunities, giving you a well-balanced education you can put into practice.

Quick Facts about CSU’s Youth Pastor Program

  • 42 credit hours of Bible and theology courses, mixed with general studies courses and 40 credit hours specifically related to disciplines in your field
  • You will earn a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Bible and Youth Pastor, or you can elect to receive a Bachelor of Science in Bible instead
  • You will learn from professors who have first-hand experience ministering within a youth culture
