SKILL DEVELOPMENT
What Will You Learn?
In all of the programs at CSU, you’ll be interacting with small class sizes and professors who really care and desire to mentor you. You’ll not only receive quality academics to prepare you for your career, but discipleship to prepare you for life.
Solid biblical philosophies of counseling and psychology
You will approach all of your studies from a biblical worldview, to equip you to discern between secular philosophy and biblical truth. You will be prepared to lead counseling organizations with biblical and ethical standards.
Valuable listening and interpersonal skills
Be prepared to interact with sensitive subjects in a composed manner. You will learn how to provide age-appropriate counsel and support in multiple settings.
Treatment of mental, emotional and physical disorders
You will gain practical tools and techniques for professional and peer counseling, and a strong educational foundation for graduate school and licensure.
