Ready to further your learning? Education for professional development, ministry expansion and personal growth can be just as important as pursuing a full degree. With less commitment, time and cost, you can keep growing and pursuing your goals through non-credit course options.

Micro-courses: Small on time. Big on Impact.

CSU’s online micro-courses allow you to grow in knowledge and skill in a flexible online course that’s designed to fit into any schedule. You will be able to work through approximately six hours worth of content at your own pace, learning through short video lessons and intentional online exercises.

You will have 60 days to access the course once you register after the course is live, and you can register at any time!

People Helping People: Building Your Counseling Toolbox

Be equipped to help others in this micro-course led by Dr. Wayne Slusser, dean of Baptist Bible Seminary. You will develop a definition of what biblical counseling is and learn to use both Scripture and counseling techniques to minister to others in a variety of circumstances.

LYFE 365

If you love the LYFE Women’s Conference, then you can expand that weekend into a year-long learning experience through LYFE 365! You’ll join a cohort of women in completing four Clarks Summit University online courses. These can be done at the undergraduate or graduate level to help you pursue your degree or simply to gain a personal enrichment experience.

You’ll complete each course in an eight-week online session and finish the final course in May, just in time to celebrate with us at the LYFE Women’s Conference at CSU!

Through LYFE 365, you’ll join a cohort of women in completing four Clarks Summit University online courses.

  • Complete LYFE 365 courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Use these courses to pursue your degree or simply gain a personal enrichment experience. LYFE 365 courses can be fully transferred into any of our two- or four-year online undergraduate degree programs or our online Master of Arts program, depending on the level of study you select.

You’ll complete each course in an eight-week online session. (You may have one of your favorite LYFE speakers for a professor!) You’ll complete the final course in May, just in time to celebrate with us at the LYFE Women’s Conference at CSU!

Undergraduate Classes

Women Counseling Women (Fall Session 1)
Study the God-given abilities and characteristics women need to minister to others. Emphasis on specific needs of women today in light of contemporary issues.

Principles of Bible Study (Fall Session 2)
Learn a methodical and inductive approach to the study of Scriptures. Gain hands-on skills with Bible study tools, and the basic laws and principles of interpretation.

Effective Bible Teaching (Spring Session 1)
Discover the purpose for teaching scripture; develop essential skills to achieve that purpose; and develop an informed and credible philosophy of Bible teaching.  Receive guidance with preparation, lesson planning, teaching skills, and equipping others for effective Bible teaching.

Women in Ministry (Spring Session 2)
Be equipped and encouraged to fulfill your ministry in your current role, setting, and stage of life. Explore a biblical philosophy of women in ministry in the home, workplace, local church, parachurch organizations, and society.

Graduate Classes

Counseling Interventions for Women (Fall Session 1)
Explore a myriad of developmental, relational and spiritual issues that women navigate across the lifespan. Emphasis on strength of identity, fulfilling purpose, and finding joy in living God’s full design. Aimed at helping professionals, this course includes appropriate assessment of women, treatment planning, and building supportive relationships.

Inductive Bible Study (Fall Session 2)
Learn a methodical and inductive approach to the study of Scriptures. Gain hands-on skills with Bible study tools, and the basic laws and principles of interpretation.

Principles of Bible Teaching (Spring Session 1)
Look at the purpose of Bible teaching, and essential factors to achieve that purpose. Interact with expert sources and fellow teachers as you develop practical skills for effective and creative communication of God’s Word. Gain capacity to design appropriate Bible sessions for any age group.

The Ministry of Women (Spring Session 2)
Be equipped and encouraged to fulfill your ministry in your current role, setting, and stage of life. Explore a biblical philosophy of women in ministry in the home, workplace, local church, parachurch organizations, and society.

Tuition Rates for LYFE 365

Undergraduate, personal enrichment: $200 per credit hour (no financial aid options)

Undergraduate, degree-seeking: $345 per credit hour (with access to financial aid)

Graduate, personal enrichment: $250 per credit hour (no financial aid options)

Graduate, degree-seeking: $395 per credit hour (with access to financial aid)

OPTION 1:

LYFE 365 Courses, personal enrichment 
The only thing you need to do to start your first class is to complete a Continuing Education Application. Then, we’ll help you get set up to engage in your first class. You can choose either the undergraduate or graduate tracks.

OPTION 2:

LYFE 365 Courses, while pursuing a degree
You’ll need to fill out a more detailed application, which includes submitting your transcripts and resume. Although the application will take more time, pursuing a degree also gives you access to financial aid. Undergraduate students can qualify for federal grants and loans; graduate students can qualify for federal loans.
