What Will You Learn?

Solid biblical foundations for education and social studies
Build a strong foundation through a core of Bible and theology courses. You will learn to teach in both secular and Christian environments through a 12-credit student-teaching experience at public and private schools.
Valuable teaching experience
Learn to create an engaging learning environment to teach students with various backgrounds in the social sciences. You will practice designing stimulating lesson plans to maximize your students’ learning.
Thorough historical understanding of the modern world
You will study topics like government, sociology, economics, history and geography under highly qualified faculty who are passionate about helping you influence the next generation for Christ.

- You will be eligible to apply for Pennsylvania state certification and certification from the Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI) for teaching Social Studies in grades 7–12.
