Treat mental, emotional and physical disorders
You will learn how to treat various disorders from experienced professors who are nationally certified counselors. Gain extra observation and practice at the on-campus counseling center in an encouraged internship!
Discern between secular philosophy and biblical truth
You will approach your study of psychology from a biblical perspective, so you can truly help people heal from a basis of truth. You will be equipped to lead counseling organizations with biblical and ethical standards.
Practice valuable listening and interpersonal skills
You will learn to discuss difficult and sensitive subjects in a composed manner while you provide age-appropriate counsel and support in multiple settings. Gain practical tools and techniques for both professional and peer counseling.
