Theatre offers a dynamic way to connect with people from all walks of life. It touches hearts, evokes deep thinking and can be an avenue to proclaim truth. You will experience a wide variety of genres including comedy, drama, musicals, classics and contemporary works.

What Will You Learn?

In all of the programs at CSU, you’ll be interacting with small class sizes and professors who really care and desire to mentor you. You’ll not only receive quality academics to prepare you for your career, but discipleship to prepare you for life.

Creating quality theatre

Gain first-hand experience in stage performance. You will love getting involved in the main-stage productions performed by the Kindred HeARTS Players as well as smaller, student-led works.

Well-rounded acting and directing skills

You will learn through hands-on classes, workshops and professional coaching. Practice what goes into a production, from the writing of scripts to lighting, directing and performing.

Biblical philosophies of art and leadership

Learn and practice how you can participate in theatre for the glory of God. You will develop valuable leadership and interpersonal skills to prepare you for working in teams effectively.
