FREE 2019 Bible Reading Plan Available Now

The Word of God is the foundation for the entire Clarks Summit University experience. Since we at CSU believe it’s vital for a Christian to regularly interact with the Bible, the Office of the President is once again releasing a chronological Bible reading plan as our gift to you.

A Note from CSU President Dr. Jim Lytle:

“Reading the Bible all the way through in a year is a big challenge. If you want to avoid losing your way in Leviticus, pray from 2 Timothy 3:16-17 before you read: ‘Lord, please use today’s reading to prepare me for good works!’ Then read, and look for some good works to do. We pray daily in that same way for students here at Clarks Summit University, asking God to use His Word to make them Christ-centered in character and career-ready in deeds. Enjoy God’s Word!”

The downloadable brochure is a guide that will take you through reading the entire Bible in 2019. The plan includes a morning reading in the Old Testament and an evening reading in the New Testament, helping you to stay on track as you study the Word of God and giving you clear goals for each day. You can print the plan and fold it as an easy way to bookmark your progress, or you can keep the digital file handy as you read along online.

We hope you enjoy this resource, and we encourage you to go beyond making this another item on your daily checklist. We hope you value the time you put into reading as you build a relationship with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and put your reading into practice.

Best wishes for a meaningful Christmas season and a Christ-centered 2019.

“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NASB)
