On Tuesday, September 19, Baptist Bible Seminary will welcome author, speaker and pastor Crawford Loritts to the campus of Clarks Summit University for a chapel and interactive lunch. The public is invited to join the student body for this educational experience to engage with a dynamic pastor of this generation.
Meet Crawford Loritts
Loritts has preached throughout the US, Caribbean, Asia, Canada, South America, Africa and parts of Europe. He has been the featured speaker at Super Bowls, NCAA Final Four chapel and the Pentagon with senior military officers.
Ordained to the ministry in 1972, Loritts has written eight books including the newly released, “Unshaken.” He is senior pastor at Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, Georgia.
Loritts and his wife, Karen, married in 1971; they are featured speakers at Family Life Marriage Conferences and co-authors of “Developing Character in Your Child.” They have four married children and 10 grandchildren.
Event Details
Loritts will speak at chapel in the university’s Recreation Center at 10 a.m. followed by a lunch and question and answer session in the cafeteria of Phelps Student Center at 11:15 a.m. The event is free, although registration is required. Lunch is $7.50 per person, which is payable at the cafeteria door.
“Dr. Crawford Loritts is well-known for his ability to communicate Biblical truth to our contemporary culture,” says Dr. Lee Kliewer, Baptist Bible Seminary dean. “As a pastor and author, he has encouraged many in the church to pursue excellence in ministry. His book on biblical leadership is one of the best available. I believe this is a great opportunity for us to host and learn from a man who is making a key impact for the church of Jesus Christ.”
